The Southwest District currently includes Garden City AFS Chapter with the following surrounding towns as a part of that chapter: Sublette, Satanta, Garden City and Copeland-Montezuma. Schools include Garden City High School (about 2000 students), Sublette High School (about 150 students), Satanta High School (about 140 students) and South Gray High School (about 80 students and includes Copeland and Montezuma). Southwest Kansas currently hosts from one to five students each year, and send one to two students abroad almost yearly.
